Cosywarm Heat Source Pumps (ASHPs) Grants

Anyone living in England, Scotland or Wales can apply for government grants that cut the cost of installing an air source heat pump. The size of the grants available depends on where you live.

What are Air source heat pumps

Air source heat pumps collect energy from the air, even when it’s cold outside!. Air source heat pumps are renewable heat source, they produce very little carbon emissions compared to a gas boiler, and can also be cheaper to run than traditional heating systems.

About Boiler Upgrade Scheme

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) is the UK government's initiative to provides grants to support the installation of renewable heating systems for example air source heat pumps. The scheme's goal id to reduce carbon emissions from heating by encouraging the adoption of low-carbon alternatives. 

BUS offers a £7,500 grant for air source heat pumps, helping to make these systems more affordable for homeowners and small businesses, according to Ofgem (click here to view)  and HIES Consumer Code ( click here to view th code ) .

• £7,500 grant towards the cost of installing an air source heat pump
